Where Are You Located?

We are excited to be located in the Greater Chicagoland Area.  We are accessible by public transporation and via means of technology.  We are able to provide confidential and attending services in person and virtually.  You can join a session via your cell phone, a tablet, smart phone, or a computer; it is up to you!

Who Do You See?

We see clients in the State of Illinois for licensed counseling services and am certified to you for coaching internationally.

Which One Do I Choose?

Psychology is for challenges clinically such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and/or grief. Life Style Coaching is to help you discover who you are, what areas of life you want to focus on and how to reach those next steps. Book Coaching is designed to help you get the story out of your head and into the hands of millions by your published book.

Payments

Accepted Answer

All fees are for services and are expected at the time of your appointment.  Payments can be made using cash, check and major debit and credit cards.  We also accept payments via Ivy Pay or Paypal at Paypal.me/TheHealingGroup You will be charged a minimum of $35.00 for returned checks.

Do you Accept Insurance?

Currently, I am not accepting commercial health insurance (although that may change in the near futures); however, I can provide documentation for out of network expenditures if your insurance company reimburses you for out of pocket mental health services. Book Coaching payment plans are available.

Question 6

Do you prescribe medication?

Accepted Answer

No, only a doctor or nurse practitioner can prescribe medication.  Preferably, a psychiatrist or psychiatric nurse practitioner should be prescribing any psychotropic (mental health) medications.  A primary care doctor can also prescribe some psychotropic medications, such as anti-depressants.  It is best practice for your therapist to connected to your prescriber if you are taking any medications for mental health.

Question 7

Do I have to talk about the trauma I have experienced in the past?

Absolutely not.  I will never ask you to talk about anything you do not feel ready to discuss. Re-calling the details of past traumatic experinces can actually be re-traumatizing, causing further distress.  I am vigilant to protect my clients from these kinds of experiences in therapy.
